Welcome to Grapevine Men's Lacrosse!
Our program is committed to developing athletes, leaders, and teammates through competition, discipline, and a passion for the game.
Whether you're a returning player or new to lacrosse, we're excited to have you join the Mustangs. We look forward to seeing you on the field this season!
Who
High School Boys 9th - 12th grade who attend schools in Grapevine, Colleyville, HEB, and surrounding communities that do not have a high school lacrosse program.
When
Fall (Development) Season: Sept-Early Nov
Spring (Regular Competitive) Season: Dec-late Apr/early May

All practices and home games will be played at Grapevine Middle School, 301 Pony Pkwy, Grapevine, TX 76051
About Fall (Developmental Season)
Fall Ball (Sept–Early Nov)
- 1-2 practices per week
- Non competitive, skill development and team building
- Because many of our athletes participate in fall sports, especially football, we offer a non-competitive fall ball season focused on skill development, fundamentals, and team building.
- Participation in fall ball is encouraged but not required for spring season participation.

About Spring (THSLL Competitive Season)
Spring (Dec-late April/early May)
The spring season is the primary competitive season and runs from January through late April or early May. Teams participate in regular practices, games, district competition, and playoff opportunities.
- 3 practices per week
- Competitive season - THSLL League play and potential playoffs
- The team will play ~12 - 15 games per season.
- Includes postseason/playoff competition (if qualified).
General Spring Season Timeline
Nov 1: Spring registration opens
Dec:
- preseason practices begin (1-2/week)
- skills and coach evaluations
Jan:
- full season begins - practices 3/week
- Aggieland Classic tournament in College Station (date TBD)
Feb-Apr:
- Full-season play including THSLL district games, practices, and regular season competition
May:
- potential THSLL playoffs
- end of season banquet
Playoffs
If the team qualifies for THSLL playoffs the playoffs occur at the end of the spring season (early May) and are single elimination. Dates and locations are set by the THSLL league and may include out-of-town travel. Details are shared with families once they are finalized.
Sixes Lacrosse
GLA may field a Sixes Team to remain in compliance with THSLL league requirements.
- Sixes is a fast-paced version of lacrosse played with 6 players on the field (5 runners and 1 goalie).
- Players participate in both offense and defense, helping develop well-rounded lacrosse skills.
- Sixes team will play ~6 games per season.
- Players participating in Sixes may also play in JV or Varsity games, and vice versa.
2026-2027
Registration for the 2026-2027 season is currently closed.
We will hold a parent season info meeting in October so be on the lookout for the date.
**Mark your calendar! Registration for the Spring 2027 season will open on November 1!
The regular competitive Spring 2027 season will begin December 2026 and run through late April/early May 2027.
